Lyrics

  1. Due… Diligence…
  2. I’m the grind, the homework, the research done,
  3. I’m vetting your vendors one by one.
  4. Checking rez-oo-mays, probing the truth,
  5. Without me your hires fall right through.
  6. ---
  7. Due… Care…
  8. I’m the watchful eye, the shield in the storm,
  9. Policies written, a duty performed.
  10. If I vanish, the courts will say,
  11. You looked away, now someone pays.
  12. ---
  13. Due Care! Due Diligence!
  14. Guardians of governance!
  15. If we falter, risk takes the throne,
  16. Negligence cuts right to the bone.
  17. ---
  18. Due… Diligence…
  19. No diligence? Your vendors lie,
  20. Contracts broken, trust runs dry.
  21. You picked the wrong one, never reviewed,
  22. Now the breach is signed with you.
  23. ---
  24. Due… Care…
  25. No care? You’re reckless, blind to the flame,
  26. Negligence stains your honored name.
  27. Harm that was simple to prevent,
  28. Turns into loss, and malcontent.
  29. ---
  30. Without diligence… third parties fail.
  31. Without care… lawsuits prevail.
  32. Together we stand, split apart we fall,
  33. Compliance is nothing without us all.
  34. ---
  35. Due Care! Due Diligence!
  36. One defends, the other inspects.
  37. Due Care! Due Diligence!
  38. Fail in one, and you’re negligent.
